Camp Information

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:  Campers will get the chance to learn outdoor skills, cooking, songs, crafts and make new friends in a fun, supervised setting.  Camp Clackawaukie is based around the Rainbow Award, a progressive outdoor skills program. This is not a badge camp.

DRESS CODE:  Socks and closed-toed, fully enclosed shoes are mandatory.  We recommend tennis shoes due to uneven terrain and proximity to fire/charcoal while at camp.  No open-toed shoes, crocs, clogs, slip-on shoes, or flip-flops.  No sleeveless shirts, exposed bellies or exposed underwear.  All shorts must meet “fingertip length” when arms are at your side.  Campers who do not follow the dress code will be sent home to change into appropriate attire.

UNIT INFORMATION:  Girls will be placed in grade level units.

BUDDIES:  We do NOT honor buddy requests.

TRANSPORTATION:  None provided.  Carpooling is strongly recommended.
